On April 2–3, 2025, the OPEN HORIZONS project was presented at the EIC Summit in Brussels, one of the most important EU gatherings for deeptech, policy, and innovation. As part of a dedicated booth on women-led tech and gender equity, our partner SPLORO represented OPEN HORIZONS alongside other key EU initiatives. Here, they engaged with stakeholders, promoted our mission, and fostered new connections.
Representing OPEN HORIZONS on a European Stage
The booth was hosted jointly with similar initiatives like Women TechEU and EmpoWomen., All of them offering a space to showcase EU efforts promoting inclusive innovation. For OPEN HORIZONS, it was a unique opportunity to highlight our role in supporting women funders in meeting real-world challenges in deeptech and digital sectors, with a practical and challenge-based approach.
We were proud to be presented among other visionary projects helping shape a more competitive and inclusive European future. The presence of EU officials, corporate leaders, and fellow innovators enriched the dialogue and helped consolidate our position within the broader Horizon ecosystem.
What’s next?
Events like the EIC Summit give OPEN HORIZONS a platform to build synergies, connect with future collaborators, and increase visibility across EU innovation channels. Valuing this important experience, we continue working on strategic corporate partnerships, enhancing our program for accelerating innovation and engaging with sector stakeholders.
